Admission

CHIJ Secondary welcomes local students or Returning Singaporeans who wish to be enrolled in Sec 3 Express Stream in 2016. Local students or Returning Singaporeans who wish to be enrolled in Sec 3 Express Stream in 2016 will have to apply and sit for the Admission Test which will be conducted in our school. 

Application for the Admission Test is available from 8 September 2015. 

Applicants can collect the application forms from the General Office or download a copy here (Application Form)
All application must be submitted by hand.

Please note the following timelines: 

Deadline for Submission of application forms 
08 October 2015 by 5pm

Please note that fee of $88/- (non-refundable) is payable upon submission of application for Singapore Permanent Residents & non-Singaporeans. 

Late submissions will not be entertained 
Admission Test Dates  19 and 20 October 2015
Announcement of Results via Postal Mail 20 November 2015

Important Note: 
Students sitting for Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) conducted by Ministry of Education (Singapore) for admission into Secondary One studies are not eligible to sit for the Admission Test. Such students will be considered for admission through the Secondary 1 posting exercise conducted by the Ministry in November / December each year.

New international students are not eligible to sit for the Admissions Test conducted by our school. New international students who do not have a place in a local school and who wish to seek admission into Sec 1 – 3 levels in Jan 2016 must take part in the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS). The AEIS is a centralised admissions exercise conducted by MOE around September or October each year for new international students who wish to join the mainstream secondary schools. Interested applicants should approach MOE Customer Service Centre (Hotline : +65 6872220) for assistance.

Current international students already enrolled in a local school must be in the current school for at least one year to be eligible to sit for the Admission Test.
